The house

A Victorian house, a village address.

The Care Inspectorate describes a care home in a pleasant residential area of Strathpeffer, registered for 32 older people. The provider is Mistral Care Homes Limited. The home is residential care. It does not provide nursing.

The building

It is a large converted house in a Victorian style, on two floors. An earlier inspection described it standing in its own ground and gardens, close to the centre of the spa village, with a lift between the floors as well as stairs. Public descriptions disagree on how the bedrooms are split, so this page does not publish an ensuite count or a single-and-double breakdown.

Strathpeffer

The house is in the Highland village, by Dingwall. It is not on the edge of Inverness, and the company’s registered office is not here. That office is Goldwells House, Grange Road, Peterhead, AB42 1WN.

The other registration

Mistral also registers a support service at Golf Course Road, for up to 10 people. This site is about the care home. The support service’s last published inspection is older, so no grade for it is given here.
